Pamper yourself With A Little Tea For One

A full week of work and courses leaves me ready to rest and let go once the weekend strikes. But we all know that the chance of me getting a weekend full of spa like therapy and peace and quiet is not really probable. Even when I have a rest from work I find myself burdened with chores and errands, house cleaning, and other tasks I’ve been putting off. Even though I may be able to talk someone into giving me a five minute back rub, I don’t think I’ll have time for a manicure and a massage. In our world where we live such fast paced lives, it is almost impossible to sneak away for an hour or two let alone a full day to just put aside our crazy lives and spend a little ‘me’ time. Where I can perhaps fit in a chiropractor’s appointment or a waxing appointment once a month, it’s never enough to make me feel as if I’ve actually spoiled myself. When an occasion or a birthday comes along and someone asks me what I want, the first thing that I think of is “money” or “a new can opener.” Even though these might be reasonable gifts, they are essentials and buying these essentials doesn’t take much sympathy. A present should be something you want, not a thing you need. Sometimes we forget our own worth and we need a friend to come in and remind us to take some time for our self. A gift should encourage you to take care of yourself, not help you run yourself further into the ground. Although I can say I wouldn’t have much free time to arrange a spa appointment even if I was given a gift card, I have a few home remedies that will do the trick almost as well. When I think a friend has been working too hard and needs a break, I buy them a pamper basket from Baskets By Rita to remind them to take a little time for their self. Baskets By Rita fills their baskets full of high quality spa products for an all inclusive, at home full spa treatment. teapot gift basketsThe Gourmet Tea Gift Basket is a perfect example of the varieties of products Baskets By Rita offers. Wine Gift For Holiday Gift Giving

vineyard selection wine basketThroughout human history, wine has been a celebratory drink savored in both social and religious occasions and traditions. For thousands of years wine has been enjoyed for pleasure, celebration, and religious purposes. Wine was historically thought to have remedial attributes and red wine is confirmed to be good for heart health. Although not all civilizations consumed wine for leisure, almost every world culture has a wine history whether used as drink or medicine. In my life, wine is appropriate for festivity, fun, and now and then, as medicine. This fact alone makes wine the perfect gift for any gathering. Whenever I need a gift when visiting a friend’s home, as a housewarming gift, or in order to say “thank you,” wine is my first choice. Wine is not only a sophisticated gift, but it’s easy to pair with appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. Enjoyed in high class society, wine pairings and tastings are a great way to network and mingle with friends. What a great chance to socialize and learn a thing or two as well!

Recently, I found myself in charge of organizing a fairly large social event. In all the confusion of planning and preparations, I forgot to notify one of the event sponsors of a change in date. The day before the event, we discovered the mistake when I answered a phone call from the sponsor. As a result of the miscommunication, they were unable to participate in the event and had blocked time out of their schedule in vain. My immediate response in apology was to send the sponsor a wine and cheese basket from Baskets By Rita. For $150 I was able to send them a basket packed with a selection of red and white wines, cookies, an assortment of cheeses, smoked salmon, gourmet crackers, summer sausage, olives, dried fruits, caramel corn, candy, snack mix, fine chocolates, mixed nuts, and more. I believed that this would be a gift that could be shared among all of their employees and I hoped it would convey my apologies for the misunderstanding. I would endorse a Baskets By Rita wine basket for any occasion for which wine is practical. Whether you need to say thank you, send a housewarming gift, apologize, or present a gift when visiting a friend, Baskets By Rita has the ideal wine basket which include Vineyard Select Wine Gift Basket for the occasion. For the wine connoisseur, we offer the choice of BV or Rodney Strong wine assortments along with assorted cookies, smoked Gouda cheese, smoked salmon, wine cheese, gourmet crackers, beef summer sausage, olives, dried fruit, caramel corn, candy, cheese snack mix, fine chocolates, gourmet mixed nuts, and more. The wine basket is a great gift for a group to share. The BV selection includes Cabernet, Merlot, and Chardonnay wines. The Rodney Strong selection includes Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Visit their red wine basket page to see their many varieties and options.

Eco Gift Bag Gourmet Food Treat

gourmet holiday eco gift bagAs a Colorado Native, I have had my share of white Christmases. I feel bad for people who have never witnessed that in person. Christmas embellishments always seem more becoming when set behind a snowy white backdrop. While snow is not mandatory to have a happy Christmas, good food is a must! Some of my favorite Christmas sweets are hot cocoa, peanut brittle and chocolates, cookies, dipped pretzels, caramel corn, candy canes, cheese and sausage, hot coffee, and brownies. The best thing about all of these goodies is that even if I don’t have the time to prepare them myself, there are many of excellent Colorado businesses which make all these Christmas goodies not far from where I live. When I need a pick me up to get me in the Christmas spirit or a swift gift to take with me to a Christmas party, mail to my friends and family across the country, or want a jolly table topper for my Christmas table, I go to www.basketsbyrita.com and order their Colorado Christmas Basket. It carries all my favorite Colorado Christmas treats, bringing Christmas tidings to my friends and family without the hours of laboring in the kitchen to create all your favorite Christmas goodies. Our Colorado Christmas gift basket is an annual tradition for over 18 years. A perfect blend of savory and sweet Colorado favorites are brought together in this holiday green willow basket topped with a festive red and white candy striped bow: This gift selection is also available in an eco-friendly gift bag. Give the Gift of Beer

Going back as early as 7,000 BC beer has been enjoyed by people all over the planet since its discovery. While techniques and recipes have changed over time and geography, the basic factors of fermentation and malting are a fabulous scientific discovery. But let’s not get so technical! We get it. Beer has been around forever and people like it! In fact, for much of history, alcohol was preferred over water, since water purification techniques had not been developed. Can you imagine a world where it is healthier to down a few beers than to quench your thirst with water? Try using that excuse next time you stumble home after having one too many! Although in present-day America we tend to classify beer among the "pub or bar" category more than the “fine dining” experience, in ancient times beer was the preferred drink of Egyptian Pharaohs. Countries such as Germany and Belgium are proud of their hundreds of breweries and take the craft of brewing very seriously. Try picking a beer in a Belgian market. You will literally have hundreds of selections! In the USA domestic breweries are becoming more and more popular. As a result, beer is becoming more popular in higher class social groups and has achieved the status of wine in some markets. Take Colorado for instance. Colorado has the most breweries per capita of any U.S. state and I think beer is easily the preferred alcoholic beverage of Coloradoans. As with wine, breweries and particular restaurants have started pairing beer with certain dishes for a finer dining experience. After thousands of years of experimentation and alteration, there is a continuous variety of beers available around the world, and new beers are still being created. When presenting a gift, why not think about including this long loved beverage? A beer basket from Baskets By Rita is a fresh and distinctive gift for any occasion. We can modify any beer basket to incorporate your choice of beers or a selection picked by our basket making, beer loving experts. We also pack our beer baskets with a assortment of snacks like cheese, crackers, chips and salsa, nuts, summer sausage, and popcorn. Take for instance our Beer Tub Gift . Our beer basket is a perfect gift for that beer lover. We fill our galvanized tub with a 6 pack of our Colorado Micro brews, chips and salsa, assorted nuts, beef jerky, beer cheese, crackers, trail mix, chocolate chip cookies, pretzels, popcorn and more. This beer gift basket is a great corporate thank you gift, welcome to your new job, birthday gift basket or even a host thank you gift on game day.. If viewing this post has left your thirsty for more, why not take my advice and sign onto www.basketsbyrita.com and get yourself a beer basket? Don’t forget to pass this on via Facebook or Twitter!
